PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS YOUNG PEOPLE - "KING'S MEDAL"
1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
1. This Regulation defines the goals and objectives, procedure, content, requirements for participants in the Program for the personal development of young people - « King's medal » (hereinafter referred to as the Program).
2. The Organizer of the Program is ______________ (hereinafter referred to as the Organizer).
3. The goal is to identify, support and assist young people in finding their calling, systematic development in various areas, achieving their goals and high results. The program also aims to create a community of educated, goal-oriented young people who can become the king's personnel reserve.
4. Tasks:
- creating conditions for the development of potential and self-realization of young people;
- encouraging socially active youth of the Federal Republic of Nigeria;
- development of leadership skills, teamwork and responsibility;
- creation of a platform for the exchange of experience and networking among active youth;
- encouraging the pursuit of educational, cultural and social development.
2. AWARD PARTICIPANTS
5. Participants in the Program are young people aged 18 to 19 years inclusive, with pronounced leadership qualities, an active life position, a desire for self-development, and a desire to work in a team.
3. STRUCTURE AND ROLES OF PARTICIPANTS
6. The program includes three key roles:
- Regional Coordinator – responsible for organizing the program in his/her region, interacting with mentors and participants, and coordinating the learning process.
- A mentor is a coach who supervises participants, helps with the selection of courses, motivates and accompanies them throughout the program.
- A participant is a young person aged 18-19 who undergoes training in the areas, receives certificates and develops the necessary skills.
4. LEVELS OF PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION
7. The program is implemented in two levels:
- Silver level – lasts 6 months and involves completing training in five areas, downloading certificates and completing practical assignments.
- Gold Level – lasts an additional 3 months, is available to participants who have completed the Silver Level and includes additional opportunities such as work placements/internships.
5. MAIN DIRECTIONS OF DEVELOPMENT
8. Participants in the program develop in six areas. Each area is provided with a list of courses, after completing which they receive certificates.
1) Meta-skills
Developing generalist skills such as critical thinking, creativity, emotional intelligence, adaptability and teamwork.
2) Hard skills
Acquiring applied professional skills necessary for a career: programming basics, financial literacy, business analytics and other in-demand competencies.
3) National Heritage
Study of Nigerian history, culture and traditions, national languages and arts with the aim of developing respect for national identity and cultural heritage.
4) Sport
Formation of a healthy lifestyle through participation in sports events.
5) Volunteering
Development of social responsibility through volunteer initiatives and community projects.
6) Work experience ( available only at Gold level )
Gaining work experience in a variety of fields through internships, practical training and real-world work assignments to prepare for future careers.
6. TERMS AND PROCEDURE FOR PROVISION
DOCUMENTS FOR PARTICIPATION
9. The announcement of the start of the Program is published on the website of the Organizer kingsmedal.ng and in the media.
10. out in the automated information system kingsmedal.ng ( hereinafter referred to as the System) from ____________ to ___________ annually (subject to agreement).
11. The applicant submits an application to kingsmedal . ng / registration by filling in the participant questionnaire. By submitting an application (Appendix 1), applicants thereby consent to the processing of personal data.
12. The application must include personal information.
7. PROCEDURE FOR DETERMINING PARTICIPANTS
13. The selection of participants is carried out on the principle of open registration. Any young person aged 18-19 can apply for participation in the program through the platform.
14. Registration is open to all interested parties who meet the age criteria.
15. The application is submitted online through the platform, where you must provide basic information about yourself.
16. The number of participants is limited to _ people.
17. The selection is carried out on the basis of the priority principle: the first _ applications are automatically accepted into the program (relevant for the pilot year of implementation ).
18. Once _ participants have been recruited, registration will close.
8. PROCEDURE FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE PROGRAM
19. A Personal Account is created for the Program participant, through which interaction with the Regional Coordinator and Mentor is ensured .
20. The regional coordinator distributes participants among mentors, coordinates the work of mentors and monitors the progress of the Program participants.
21. The mentor conducts an analytical assessment of the candidate’s portfolio, based on which the participant is guided towards achieving results during participation in the Program.
22. The mentor monitors the participant’s progress, including through the participants’ personal pages on social networks.
23. At each level of the program implementation, participants independently undergo training in six areas ( section 5), download certificates and complete an approved list of tasks . The program is built on a competitive system - the more courses and tasks are completed, the higher the place in the rating.
24. The participant can take additional courses beyond the required minimum and upload certificates, receiving additional points in the rating.
25. The training courses are selected by the participant independently from the catalog available on the kingsmedal.ng platform .
26. When uploading certificates, the participant indicates the acquired skills, which are automatically added to his personal resume.
27. Silver level (6 months):
27.1 During the " Silver level" the participant uploads to his personal account:
- certificates confirming completion of training in established courses in the areas of « Meta skills » and « Hard skills » (at least 5 certificates in each area);
- reports on the completion of tasks in the areas of “National Heritage”, “Sport”, “Volunteering” (at least 10 tasks in each area).
27.2. Mentor monthly for six (6) months, checks the submitted documents for authenticity and execution, evaluates them in accordance with the established points system (Appendix 2) and allows participants to complete and receive the “Silver Level” medal.
27.3. After successfully receiving the Silver Level medal, the participant is awarded the status of Silver Level Medalist and is issued a certificate of completion of the level .
27.4. Upon completion of the Silver Level, medalists of the corresponding level are given the opportunity to move up to the Gold Level.
27.5. Participants of the Silver Level from previous years cannot move up to the Gold Level for the current year of the program.
28. Gold Level (+3 months to completed Silver Level):
28.1. At the “Gold Level”, participants have access to the “Labor Internship” direction.
28.2. During the " Gold level" the participant uploads to his personal account:
- certificates confirming completion of training in established courses in the areas of « Meta skills » and « Hard skills » (at least 2 certificates in each area);
- reports on the completion of tasks in the areas of “National Heritage”, “Sport”, “Volunteering” (at least 5 tasks in each area).
- diary on completing work practice/internship in the field of "Work Practice".
28.3. Mentor monthly for three (3) months, checks the submitted documents for authenticity and execution, evaluates them in accordance with the established points system (Appendix 2), confirms the successful completion of the Program and allows the participant to receive the “Gold Level” medal.
28.4. Information about opportunities for work practice/internships is posted on the platform.
9. RESULTS OF PARTICIPATION IN THE PROGRAM
29. Upon completion of the Silver Level, the participant is issued a certificate confirming his/her achievements and competencies of the corresponding level. Upon completion of the Gold Level, the participant is issued a final certificate confirming successful completion of the Program.
30. The best graduates of the " Gold Level" (Top -___ ) , who have scored the highest number of points, are included in the King's personnel reserve.
31. At the end of the Program, the participant receives a completed digital CV that can be used when applying for a job.
32. All participants who complete the program become part of an elite community. This is a network of ambassadors and leaders who can support each other, receive recommendations, and participate in future program initiatives.
33. Additional privileges for the best Program participants (subject to agreement):
− Grants for further education,
− Special job offers,
− Rewards from the program organizers.
10. FINAL PROVISIONS
34. The Organizer has the right to make changes and additions to these Regulations at any time.
35. Participation in the Program means the full consent of the Participants with this Regulation, and also confirms the consent of the Participants to the collection, storage and processing of their personal data by the Organizer, to the publication of video and photo materials in the media and on the Internet. The consent is valid for the entire duration of the Program and two years after its completion.
